Destination: La Grave, France.
Be wrned this slope is for experts only. Even the most experienced can find cornice drops and crevasses a little tricky and may require a guide to point out the hidden dangers. Avalanche beacons and rescue harnesses are a must. The extremity of the slopes, however, brings a refreshingly crowd-free experience.

The 30-minute La Meije Glaciers Aerial Tramway (Telepherique) is the only way up to La Grave’s glacial high points, followed by two shorter drag lifts to reach the very highest lift-served access spots.
Non-advanced skiers who find themselves in La Grave probably should decamp to Le Chazelete or Les Deux-Alpes for their own safety.

Village of La Grave France is a charming, quiet little village with few bars and restaurants, La Grave is definitely not a party town, but is a very beautiful. You will get a lot of comfortable lodgings here for your ski trip.
