Are you an adventure sports junky and are looking for a forlorn Decertified destination then Namibia’s weather-beaten west coast is the place for you.

Swakopmund
is ringed by hundreds of miles of Namibian desert on one side, and the rampant Atlantic Ocean on the other.
Though for some of you the sand might get a little wearisome- Perpetual abrasive sting in the air, getting into all the places that it should not be in, obscuring the vision at times. The greatest plus point is that you get to try out crazy sand sports:

Sand-boarding: Two types is available-down sand boarding and stand-up head sand boarding. All the fun is on a 4ft piece of cardboard (Board speed machine).

Driving a quad bike: That entails “go fast uphill” techniques and takes some time getting used to, be smart choose an automatic over a hog. It gets exhilarating as you get around various cliffs and dips of the dunes.
Sky dive into the desert after jumping from 10,000ft, if your not an expert you could still go for it as a tandem jump attached to the front of an instructor, at Desert Skydiving, it’s your co-jumper who does all the work.

Though there is not a wide range of companies to choose from since there are only 2 for all. Two for quad-biking, two for skydiving and two for sand-boarding.

Best part of this grilling adventure is that you don’t hurt nobody and especially not nature as the sand covers your tracks in no time. So get set go.... Freak out at your desert adventure.
