With world weather conditions haywire, there has been more snowfall in North Island in New Zealand. Junction Ski and Board’s Linda Inkster says while October snow falls are not unusual.

Both Turoa and Whakapapa skifields have had at least 20 centimetres of snow during the past two days, with blizzard conditions in downtown Ohakune yesterday. Lets hope kids get a white Christmas there.
