If you’ve been postponing your next vacation, you obviously don’t know much about cruises! Cruising is a long beloved favorite of seasoned world travelers and has become more popular in recent years. Cruising is luxurious, fun, exciting, and a surprisingly economical way to travel and see all those sites around the world you have been longing to behold! On a cruise, you and your travel companion will be assigned a cabin, unless you arrange for private quarters. If you are friends, there are two twin beds available and if you are a couple, they are either pushed together to make a larger bed or a queen or king sized bed is available in some higher end cabins. While the square footage of even the better cabins can sound cramped, they are designed to maximize the most space to give you room to relax in comfort while providing plenty of room to neatly organize and stow your belongings for the tenure of your trip. Arguably one of the greatest features about a cruising vacation is that you can get settled into your own room where you will stay the entire length of the trip. There is closet space to hang up your wrinkle prone clothing and drawers to fold the rest. Vanity drawers and space are common. You also will have the benefit of waking in a new port of call every day without having to switch multiple airplanes and hotels each new day. You won’t need to get acclimated to new surroundings daily. You will make yourself at home on a world class ship, feel familiar and comfortable, and you will relax in style as your traveling is seemingly done for you. After a long day of enjoying the port’s sights, have a gourmet dinner and relax in your familiar surroundings. With the best of everything, cruises are the only way to go!
