Camooweal Drover’s Camp Festival of Queensland’s is one of the brightest spots on the town’s social calendar attracting drovers, ringers and stockmen back to the droving hub of Camooweal. The festival is meant to open on August 25 to 27.
Over the years it has also enfolded a number of activities which include bush poetry, humorous floats, musicians, horses and coaches culminating in a night full of entertainment at Ellen Finlay Park. Horse shoeing and bronco branding competition is available for the adventurous. You get to experience traditional camp cooking and enjoy the result.
