Blaine will try to escape from shackles while dangling four stories above Times Square. He will be dangling for almost three days before attempting to escape from the shackles. The three spinning steel rings will flip Blaine in various directions up to eight times per minute. The shackles will be added to Blaine on Thursday, giving him 16 hours to free himself. The biggest challenge he’ll face will be the freezing weather conditions.
David Blaine himself is quoted to have said:

After winning he hopes to take 100 underprivileged children chosen by The Salvation Army charity on a shopping spree. He has a soft corner for the The Salvation Army charity since they provided him with clothes as a child.
