Chegem Gorge, Kabardino, Balkaria, Russia is the perfect spot for paragliding. Viktor Shuliga who has the credit for finding the area is quoted to have said,
‘The Aktoprak valley, where the festival is being held, has steady wind, uplifting warm draughts and elevation changes,’
Paragliding started the second phase of Chegem Games festival which is being heid there is a means to get people to know this place as a venue for extreme paragliding.
