Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp in Oswiecim, is a
death camp which was in operation for 5 years from May 1940 till 1945. The least estimate of deaths that took place there is from 2.1 to 2.5 million people who were killed in the gas chambers.
Anyone who has visited Auschwitz-Birkenau is overwhelmed with sadnessand fear, visitors have been known to break down in tears. Bodies dead from gas chambers were burnt in open pits. I’m getting the creeps even writing about it.
