A few people can really imagine the courage it takes to relish the breathtaking scenery of “Death Road”, the only western route into La Paz. Those people who like to think of themselves as brave hearts should challenge “Death Road” in the eye but calling it a challenge is a severe understatement.

Its not ‘death road’ but ‘road to death’.
This raod is really unsafe and terrific and a passage that may took the passerby to death.

The roads do look dangerous but very similar to the roads in Kinnaur district of Himachal. If you really want to try one, i would suggest the road from Kalpa to rogi village. Its a short drive but its the ultimate challenge to test your driving skills.
These roads are exclusively for people who get a kick out of playing with death. quite a few roads in the Himachal are as dangerous. they send shivers up your spine. if u come out of these roads alive, u are either a gifted driver or have the devil’s own luck. when i go out for a holiday, i would much rather take safe roads and come back home to tell the story.
Unless being super hiper mega necessary I would pass in a place like this.
